Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda J. E. Smith) is a major pest of corn. The usual control the use synthetic insecticides, but continuous or unwise insecticides will harm humans and environment. Therefore an alternative insecticide, called botanical pesticide that safe environmentally friendly such as extract citronella (Cymbopogon nardus L.) needed. purpose this study was to obtain effective concentration Cymbopogon L.to S. frugiperda. research conducted at Plant Pest Laboratory Faculty Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru. done from August September 2020. This used completely randomized design (CRD), consisting 6 treatments 4 replications with 2 ml.l-1 water, 8 10 water without control. result showed able could cause total mortality 80% initial time death 6.75 hours after application, 50 lethal times 40.50 hours.
